✦ hi. i’m lindsay.

I contain multitudes.
And craft supplies.

I write. I crochet. I make weird little creatures. I collect notebooks under the persistent belief that the next one might finally organize my entire existence.

I read ghost stories. I journal. I make things with my hands. I follow strange little ideas down rabbit holes and occasionally emerge with a new hobby, a new project, or an alarming amount of supplies.

← how we got here

I got tired of trying to pick one thing.

For a long time, I treated every new interest like a problem I needed to solve. Which hobby was the real one? What should I focus on? What was my niche? What could become a business? What deserved my time?

Eventually I realized that maybe the changing wasn’t the problem.

Maybe curiosity is simply how I move through the world.

Change of Subjects is where I stopped trying to edit that part of myself out.

This is my place to write about my life as I’m actually living it: making things, reading things, learning things, changing my mind, following joy, abandoning questionable plans, resurrecting old ones, and seeing where the next subject takes me.
